Rationale
Children from families dependent on welfare services sometimes need to be out of home most of the day and generally lack any organized educational and social framework after school hours. The Neve ESRA Center provides the children with a warm, secure, and supportive environment where they receive a nutritious, hot meal, together with schoolwork assistance, remedial teaching, and afternoon enrichment programs.
Objectives
Providing learning tools and enrichment with content otherwise not generally exposed to, in a safe, supportive environment
Results
The children express very high satisfaction with the remedial teacher and the enrichment activities and report feeling that it contributes to all their studies in school.
