Explore Israel’s Military History: Yad LaShiryon & The Museum of the Jewish Soldier
Join us for a visit to two of Israel’s most important military heritage sites.
We begin at Yad LaShiryon in Latrun, Israel’s official memorial site for fallen soldiers of the Armored Corps. Discover the impressive tank collection, take a look at the historic British Mandate fortress, and learn about the role of armored forces in Israel’s wars through multimedia exhibits and moving memorials.
After lunch, we continue to the Museum of the Jewish Soldier in World War II, a unique institution that highlights the contributions of Jewish soldiers who fought in Allied forces. Through personal stories, documents, and artifacts, the museum sheds light on Jewish bravery and the global struggle against tyranny.
This trip offers a powerful look into resilience, sacrifice, and heroism, from ancient history to modern-day Israel.
