“Small Things Like These”, published in 2020 and shortlisted for the Booker Prize, concerns the crisis of faith and conscience of a devoted father of five in a small Irish town who discovers the conditions in which young unwed mothers are kept in a nearby convent, and must decide what to do.

All are welcome at what promises to be a stimulating discussion of a thought-provoking book.
