Places We Left Behind was a finalist for Foreword Reviews Book Awards for Memoir and Landed won the Zibby Awards for Best Midlife-or-Late-in-Life Coming-of-Age. A former Raanana resident, Jennifer Lang runs Israel Writers Studio in Tel Aviv. She's a longtime yogi and yoga instructor and once offered a free creative writing class at the ESRA office.
