We will start with a pleasant 2km. walk along part of the Israel Trail past pools and date groves to the Visitor Centre of the “Kinneret Courtyard”. There we will hear the story of the Second Aliya pioneers, of the early days of the Kibbutz and Moshav movements and the importance of the women pioneers, including a short film.

We’ll cross the road to the historical Kinneret Cemetery where famous people such as Rachel the Poetess and Songwriter Naomi Shemer are buried, and continue 2km. along the lakeside “Round Kinneret Trail” back to our meeting point.
From there we’ll drive to the Tzemach Mall for lunch with its wide choice of eateries (not included in price).

There will be a minibus from Karmiel and anyone from other areas are welcome to join us in private cars
