Aloney Yitzchak Youth Village, founded in 1948, serves as a home for native Israeli and immigrant youth from all over the world. Its mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all its students, no matter how traumatic their background. It believes that every child can succeed, thrive, and achieve their full potential with the proper tools and support.
Our visit will include refreshments on arrival, a video and talk, art activities led by the director of the art program, a guided tour of the village with student ambassadors, followed by kosher vegetarian lunch.
Karli Sherwinter, Director of Resource Development at Aloney Yitzchak, will guide us on our visit. The group will speak with Yaakov Benbenisti, Village Graduate and current Director. Tal Lotan, Director of Art at the Village for 26 years, will lead the art activity.
