ESRA Hike

This is our first hike of the 2021-22 season!

This region is full of breathtaking landscapes and gushing springs. We start the hike at the entrance of the valley leading to Ein Moda and Ein Shokek.
We then follow a hidden trail to Nahal HaKibutzim were we will be able to swim in the springs.
Then, we follow the trail to Ein Migdal (tower spring), which perpetuates Tal Amal's memory now Kibbutz Nir David. This was the first tower and stockade set up in 1936.

Following the trail through the Nahal which follows through to the Jezreel Valley.

If you want to swim, please bring swimwear and sandals.

Green pass holders only. Masks must be worn during the entire bus journey. Anyone with a fever or cold cannot get on the bus.

Hikers should come properly prepared for each hike: plenty of water (2 litres per person in normal weather, at least 3 litres per person if it’s hot), good walking boots or shoes, change of clothes/towel if swimming, hat, sunscreen and food for breakfast & lunch in a backpack.  Walking poles optional, but useful.
ESRA hikes are suitable for people in good health. We reserve the right to refuse participation on the hike to any person who does not come properly equipped or is not physically capable of making the distance.
