Enia Krivine is senior director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies’Israel Program and National Security Network. She will describe the role and influence of ‘so-called’ think tanks in general and FDD in particular. FDD is a Washington DC based non-partisan research institute focusing on national security and foreign policy.
Enia joined FDD after nearly seven years at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Prior to AIPAC, Enia worked on several political campaigns and served as director of congressional affairs for the Israel Allies. Foundation. She began her career in Washington DC over a decade ago as a Middle East fellow at the House Foreign Affairs Committee, serving under Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. Now living in Zichron Ya’akov with her family, Enia holds an M.A. in Middle Eastern studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.A. in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University. She is an FDD National Security Fellowship Program alumna.
