ESRA members are invited to participate as a group to volunteer for a local food rescue organization, Robin Food. Participants will contribute to a range of tasks in the kitchen and maintenance: washing, and preparing vegetables and cleaning up the kitchen and surrounding areas.
The food we prepare will go to feed our soldiers.
There will be a team lunch at the end of the shift around 14:00 after the kitchen is cleaned.
Meet Shai Rilov, the CEO and co-founder of Robin Food NGO. Social entrepreneur and sustainability activist. Founded Robin Food 8 years ago. Built community of volunteers, educational services, impact development, spokesperson, marketing and more.
Tasks are mostly standing, some lifting of boxes of vegetables. Volunteer must agree to help with the tidying up and cleaning tasks. Register with ESRA. Plus a small donation to Robin Food will be collected at the event.
