Elia Meghnagi takes us on a cultural and political tour of Benghazi and its Jewish community in the 20th century, under Italian, British and Arab regimes. This is his personal story of growing up, and his escape from Benghazi.
Growing up in Benghazi, and escaping to the UK, Elia found refuge in Cambridge as a foreign student. His career in telecoms engineering would take him across the globe.
He has written a book titled Escape from Benghazi: Diary of an Imposter.
