Akiva Buckman will be speaking about his experience in the design of the TLV Red Line underground stations, witnessing the stations transform from design on paper, to mere holes in the ground, to beautiful, functioning facilities. Come see the intricacies of the stations, the construction process, and the challenges that were overcome in producing Israel's first underground transit system.
 
Akiva Buckman is an engineer who made aliyah from Teaneck, NJ, USA in 2011. He studied civil engineering at Ariel University and has been working on the design of the TLV Red Line since 2019, as well as taking part in the Jerusalem Red Line and other projects in Israel and abroad.
 
Light refreshments will be served.
