Israel is famous in the botanical world for the large variety of indigenous irises that grow here. Many of the 22 species are extremely rare and nearly all of them are protected. Probably the best known is the dark-purple iris which flowers in our coastal areas. Join the ECC for a morning amongst the irises in the iris garden located in the Ramat Hanadiv Park between Benyamina and Zichron Ya’akov. The iris garden is one of the foremost sites in the world for preserving and studying these very special plants.
Through our photography we will endeavor to highlight the striking, vibrant colors and textures of these beautiful flowers.
Robert Schenck will be leading this outing.

Meeting at the Ramat Hanadiv shop.

The fee covers the shoot and the review session.

Details of the pre-shoot lecture and the review session will be sent out separately.
