We have been wanting to hike Nahal Tze’elim for a long time. The Nahal is a long stream that leads from Arad to the Dead Sea. We start with a brief ascent towards the desert mountains, we hike past small seasonal streams and we then head north to the Judean Desert and on to Nahal Mishmar. We will see waterfalls with deep canyons. Many archeological artifacts have been found in the area. Nahal Mishmar is the area of Ein Gedi. We will hike past boulders and hidden desert caves and streams.
This will be an exciting magical day, if you pay attention to the trail, it will provide you with a miracle every moment. A hike not to be missed.
