Dvorak composed his most famous work, the ninth symphony dubbed ‘From the New World’ after arriving in America.
Dvorak listened and analyzed Native American and Afro American music, and his conclusion - not very popular at the time - was that indeed THIS music is the new world’s “musical identity”.
The ninth symphony is in fact Dvorak’s own manifestation of the “American” musical style he found in the USA put to a westernized concert format, while also mirroring Dvorak’s own melodic genius apparent in all his other great works.

Shlomy Kaynan is a Musician, Commercial/tv Music Producer and Composer.
Shlomy teaches master classes of guided meditation listening to music of all genres in colleges around the country. He has worked with leading local musicians for the past 30 years. He has composed musical soundtracks for local and international movies.
