A fascinating multimedia journey into Beethoven's concertos for a soloist and orchestra. In this lecture we will obtain a professional toolbox to analyze Beethoven's style, highlight some lesser known facts about the pieces, and compare different renditions of top soloists and conductors.

Omer Shomrony is a prominent Israeli lecturer and critic of classical music. A popular lecturer since 1999, he teaches at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel-Aviv University, as well as various colleges of continuing studies. Over the years he had developed and taught dozens of music appreciation courses, which he teaches in either Hebrew or English.
Omer Shomrony had been the classical music critic for the 'Globes' Business Daily for two decades. Currently he writes for 'Opus' and 'Mostly Music' online music sites, and appears as a guest music specialist at various Radio and Television programs.
Over the past two decades, Omer Shomrony also plans and leads specialized tours to selected classical music venues in Europe. These have included the leading music festivals and concert series in Salzburg, Verbier, Luzern, Baden-Baden, Leipzig, Berlin, Milan, and many more.
